Is the real estate market showing signs of improvements?
This week's headlines are indicating positive signs that the market might be turning around.
On a local level, I do think the market has improved. However . . . we must keep in mind that the second half of last year we experienced several catastrophic weather events that seriously affected the real estate market especially in the hilltowns. The mild weather this winter has created a surge in people looking and buying. I am cautiously optimistic about the market and we need to see how the next few months go before we can make the determination that we are headed in the right direction.
