Pioneer Valley Real Estate Update

Single family sales in the Pioneer Valley rose 26.8% during the second quarter from 993 in 2011 to 1,259 for this year.   Inventory dropped 3.5% from 3310 in 2011 to 3195 in 2012.  The number of days on market is about the same and listings that are currently under agreement rose 17%. 
The biggest change for the Franklin County area is the average sale price dropped from 191,108 to 174,382.
