Colrain, Massachusetts is a place which offers inspiration to many local artists. It’s preserved natural areas, rolling hills, ponds and streams, and wooded forests have captured many creative people and offered a wonderful place for them to work and live. Each year, these artists and creatives open their doors and welcome the community to come and enjoy their works of art and to learn more about what they do and how they do it.
The annual Crafts of Colrain Open Studio Tour is back again this Saturday and Sunday, November 13 and 14. Grab a map and go for a scenic drive through beautiful Colrain as you explore various artists’ studios. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the artists, ask questions about their work and their processes, watch demonstrations, and purchase handmade, unique creations. This year, 19 craftspeople are participating in Crafts of Colrain, including woodworkers, metalsmiths, fiber artists, photographers, jewelry makers and more.
