The Green River Festival celebrates 35 years with a full weekend of music, artists, activities, and more! This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 24-26, 2022, enjoy a variety of artists from near and far. Performances are happening on three different stages throughout the weekend. See your favorite artists perform and discover new bands you hadn’t heard of before.
This year’s lineup includes Galactic, Las Cafeteras, Parsonsfield, Father John Misty, Dustbowl Revival, and Lake Street Dive headlining Saturday night on the Greenfield Savings Bank Stage. Check out the whole lineup and learn more about the artists here.
The Green River Festival is a very kid-friendly event. Kids 10 years old and under get in for free and there are lots of activities and music just for kids. On Saturday, there will be kids music performances starting at 10:45 am and a parade with the Muzen Theater Puppets. The Art Garden Crafts Tent will return this year with plenty of fun arts and crafts activities and a games tent, as well.
In between your favorite shows, be sure to check out the Maker’s Market with 7 new artists this year. You’ll find a variety of hand-crafted creations, such as hand-blown glass, flower crowns, tie-dye, jewelry, authentic Mexican leather goods and more. You can also have your own henna tattoo or a flower crown to wear by Daisy Stone Studio.
When you get hungry, head over to the food trucks for delicious treats. Many local vendors will be serving up healthy, locally sourced foods. This year’s list of food vendors includes the Holyoke Hummus Company, Broccoli Bar, Greene’s Smokin’ BBQ, Ginger Love Cafe, and more. You can also get a cold drink from Ginger Libation, Berkshire Brewing Company, Artifact Cider Project, and others.
