The Big E is the sixth largest fair in the nation and it’s located right here in Western Massachusetts. Head down to West Springfield Friday, September 16th through Sunday, October 2nd for endless entertainment, food, and fun things to do at The Big E.
This year The Big E will host several famous artists at The Big E Arena, including Sublime with Rome, Dropkick Murphys, Brantley Gilbert, Nelly, and more. The Big E also has two other stages where you can see many other artists perform, as well. For more performances, be sure to check out The Big Parade and Circus Spectacular, too.
You will never run out of fun things to do at The Big E. You can spend time shopping at the Craft Common or the Farmers’ Market. Hop on some of the fun Midway Rides or visit the Avenue of States which features fun things from each state in New England.
Plus of course, there is delicious fair food! Check out the long list of food vendors who will be set up at The Big E this year. For those over 21 years old, there is also the Sam Adams Beer Garden and Local Brewer Showcase.
Originally created as an agricultural fair, the Big E stays true to its history by continuing to host agricultural events. These events include livestock shows, 4-H demos, and craft/skill demonstrations. View the agricultural events schedule here.
