Tour six different Hilltown museums in one day! The 2nd annual Hilltown History Trail is happening Saturday, August 5th, 2023. Hop in your vehicle and go from town to town to learn about each one's history.
During the museum tours you'll read stories and view artifacts from the native peoples and European settlers. These collections of wonders give us insight into the towns' pasts and what life was like back then.
With the help of many volunteers, we are able to learn about the history of the Hilltowns. The historical societies involved in this year's trail are Ashfield, Buckland, Cummington, Plainfield, and Shelburne Falls.
