The Heath Fair is a celebration of community, agriculture, and local traditions. For 105 years, the Heath Fair has drawn locals and visitors alike for 3 days of classic country fair activities, hosted by the Heath Agricultural Society. This year’s fair will be no different. The fair’s schedule is packed with exhibits, agricultural competitions, live music, dancing, food, games, and more.
The events begin Friday, August 18th, 2023 at 5 pm, with the opening of the exhibit hall, food booths, and the beer garden. Soon after, the live music begins, as well as the Church Ladies Ham and Bean Supper and the Antique Tractor Parade. Friday night will finish off with a magnificent fireworks display to celebrate the kickoff of the Heath Fair.
Saturday, August 19th is the longest day of the fair with the fairgrounds open from 8 am to 10 pm. Stroll around the fair and you will find something for everyone. Some special highlights include the rabbit, sheep, and cattle shows, the Heath Firefighters Association Chicken BBQ, plus several speakers and demonstrations. There will be live music throughout the day with Wild Bill and The Flying Sparks at 1 pm, Eddie Forman Orchestra at 3:30 pm, and Fever at 7 pm.
The fun continues Sunday, August 20th from 8 am to 5 pm with more exhibits, music, and shows. Right at 8 am is the start of 5K Fun Run, as well as an obstacle challenge race and gymkhana. Rosie Porter and The Neon Moons will take the stage at noon and the “Pollinating Partners” Parade will stroll at 1 pm. Check out a chainsaw mill demonstration at 2:30 pm, followed by a demonstration on Birds of Prey with Tom Ricardi at 4 pm.
