Everyone is invited to the Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum’s annual Trolleyfest, a celebration of Trolley No. 10. On Saturday, September 30, 2023, head to the museum in Shelburne Falls for a fun afternoon of trolley rides, games, activities, and more.
Fest-goers can ride the antique trolley car or the pump car. There will also be lots of family-friendly things to do such as playing with the wooden and electric model trains, riding on Speeder aka Motorcar, and sending messages via telegraph.
Trolleyfest starts at 11 am and goes until 5 pm. Throughout the day there will be various demonstrations relating to industries and farms who were serviced by the trolley line. Learn to press cider and make butter, then sample them. Play games from 1900, learn weaving on either adult or child-friendly looms, and milk a “cow.”
Davenport Maple Farm will be there selling their delicious maple products. Other snacks will be available for purchase, as well.

The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum is dedicated to preserving and operating Shelburne Falls & Colrain Street Railway trolley car No. 10, which served its namesake towns for thirty years. The museum is run by dedicated volunteers.
