The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Franklin County and North Quabbin Area is an important resource in our community, which provides help and seeks justice for children who have been victims of abuse. When a child is brought to the CAC, the team is able to recognize that child’s unique needs and provide a friendly, safe, space for them.
The mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center is to prevent and end child abuse in our community by providing education, safety, healing and justice. By working with Child Abuse Unit of the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, CAC is dedicated to minimizing secondary trauma to child victims by streamlining the handling of cases of child sexual abuse, serious child physical abuse, and child exploitation. They envision a community in which children are respected and free from harm and their services can make that happen.
The CAC is welcoming to visitors who are interested in better understanding their work. Their center, located on Wisdom Way in Greenfield, is a warm and welcoming place. You can also support the work they do by donating here.
