Trees of Peace Tour at Mohawk Trail State Forest

The renowned Mohawk Trail State Forest is home to the tallest trees in New England, offering visitors the chance to marvel at its cherished towering white pine trees while gaining insight into their significance within the forest ecosystem and American history.

The Trees of Peace Tour at Mohawk Trail State Forest caters to individuals aged 6 and older who are eager to explore nature. The tour involves a moderately easy uphill hike for approximately 1.6 miles.

Tour participants will gather at the Nature Center near the Park Entrance, 1 Cold River Road/Route 2 in Charlemont, to commence their adventure.
