greenfield winter carnival dog sledThis year’s Greenfield Winter Carnival is themed Season Switch-Up! Warm up with summer vibes at different events all over Greenfield all weekend long, Friday, February 2nd to Sunday, February 4th. Here are just some of the exciting events planned for the weekend to remind you of summer days:

Mesa Verde will host an outdoor beach bash and ice bar on the patio with festive music, drinks, and fun to warm up your spirit.

On Friday night, head to the Downtown Defrost at Court Square. Admire the fire spinning performances and warm around the fire barrels while you toast s’mores.

Saturday night at Hawks & Reed, break out of the winter funk at the “Chasing Summer Vibes” party featuring Small Town Radio. Doors open at 8 pm.

Attend the Beach Bash in winter on Sunday at Beacon Field from 12 to 4 pm. Bring a beach chair and towel to set up in the snow, play lawn games, snow volleyball, enjoy live DJ music, and pose with summer-themed props.

Of course, there will still be some of the usual fun winter events too!

Go sledding and outdoor ice skating at Beacon Hill and Ice Rink. Ride a horse drawn sleigh or wagon with Hubbard Farm. Attend the Snowmobile Show to see vintage snowmobiles and even take a ride on one.

Plus, there will be a Fatbike group ride, Winter Carnival Rave at 10 Forward, Snowshoeing Trek at Highland Pond, and more!
