The Pioneer Valley Kennel Club is hosting several dog training and agility classes this August at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, Massachusetts. A variety of classes will be held over the course of several days and times at the end of August and into September. These classes include pre-agility training, therapy dog training, building on obedience training, dog rally basic training, dog handling, and more.
Pre-agility classes help build your dog’s foundational skills on flat ground for future agility courses or any other skills. During the class you and your dog will be guided through a variety of drills, games, and obstacles, teaching your dog new tricks and having fun along the way.
Therapy dog training is an introduction to therapy dog work. The skills taught in these classes are aligned with the rules, regulations, and guidelines implemented by the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. After the classes, you can even consider having your dog officially certified with the ATD.
You can learn more about all of the classes on the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club's website.
If you are interested in connecting more with your dog and teaching them some new skills, these classes are the perfect opportunity to do so. They are taught with qualified instructors in a fun and open environment. Plus, you’ll meet other dog owners and their dogs who are interested in the same skills.
The Pioneer Valley Kennel Club is a local trusted club for dog owners and their dogs. You do not have to be a member to join these trainings, but members do receive a discount.
