Get Ready for the Franklin County Fair in Greenfield, Mass

The Franklin County Fair in Greenfield, Massachusetts, is set to take place from Thursday, September 5 through Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. This year marks the 175th anniversary of the fair, themed "Rooted in Our Community," promising a vibrant celebration filled with traditional and exciting activities.

Demolition Derby and Truck Pulls

One of the highlights of the fair is the demolition derby, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 8 at 6 pm. This thrilling event features drivers competing in a battle of endurance and skill, smashing their vehicles in a controlled environment. Additionally, on Saturday, September 7 at 5:30 pm, the fair will host exciting truck pulls, where powerful trucks compete to see who can pull the heaviest load the farthest, adding to the adrenaline-pumping atmosphere.

 

Midway Rides

The Coleman Brothers Midway will open each day, featuring a variety of rides and games for all ages. From classic carnival rides to modern attractions, there's something for everyone. The midway promises to be a hub of excitement, with colorful lights and the sounds of laughter filling the air.

 

Live Music

Live music will be a significant part of the fair, with performances scheduled throughout the weekend.
