The holiday season is almost here, and Greenfield is getting ready to celebrate with JingleFest, happening on December 5 and 6, 2025. This two-day event turns downtown Greenfield into a festive, fun place where people can enjoy holiday cheer, shop local, and spend time with the community.
A Festive Downtown
Throughout the weekend, local shops and restaurants deck out their windows with creative holiday displays that everyone can check out and vote for their favorites. One of the highlights is the tree lighting ceremony at Veterans Mall, which includes live music, free hot cocoa, and, of course, a visit from Santa. If you want a classic holiday photo, Santa will be at Cleary Jewelers ready for pictures. Come evening, you can keep the festive vibes going with a karaoke and dance party at the Moose Club.
Fun for the Whole Family
There’s plenty to do during the day, especially on Saturday. Kids can get creative by making festive jingle bracelets in a craft session at the library, and local children will be showing off their handmade goods at the Creative Kids Market.
If you’re looking for fresh local produce or treats, the Winter Farmers Market is the spot to visit. Plus, gift-wrapping stations and a wreath sale at Court Square make holiday prep easier. Families can also enjoy storytime and crafts with Mrs. Claus at TheLAVA Center, and for those who like a little adventure, there’s the Amazing Race scavenger hunt around downtown.
Get creative or just enjoy the sights at the Gingerbread House Contest & Display at Rubber Duck Tech Repair from 12 to 6 pm on Friday.
Music and More
Music fills the streets throughout the weekend, with choirs, bands, and dance groups performing to get everyone in the holiday spirit. Check out both the outdoor and indoor performance schedules for the full lineup. Evening concerts, including the Franklin County Community Chorus, bring even more festive sounds to the celebration to spread holiday cheer throughout the community.
Supporting Local Spirit
