For over 25 years, Greenfield Community College has honored the life and message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a celebration that brings together people of all ages through art, music, learning, and reflection. This year marks the 27th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration, happening Monday, January 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Cohn Family Dining Commons at GCC. The event is free and open to the public—everyone is welcome to attend!
This year’s theme focuses on community, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice. The celebration promises an engaging program filled with activities for all ages, including dance, music, art, and education. The day’s keynote presentation will be delivered by Dr. Angela Campbell, GCC’s Vice President for Institutional Mission, Culture, and Climate, who will share reflections on Dr. King’s enduring impact and how his vision continues to shape our communities today.
