Fall in Shelburne Falls is a special time of year, and the 3rd Annual Shelburne Falls Oktoberfest offers a chance for families, friends, and neighbors to come together while supporting a great local cause. Presented by the Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School PTO, the family-friendly fundraiser will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School.
The event will feature a full day of live entertainment, local vendors, food, games, and activities for all ages. A rain date is scheduled for October 17.

Something for Everyone
The Shelburne Falls Oktoberfest brings together many of the things that make a community fall festival enjoyable. Visitors can browse more than 40 local craft vendor booths, making it a great opportunity to discover handmade goods and support small businesses and local makers.
The event will also feature live performances from Patten, Fetch the Barnacles, and Pizazz Dance Studio, providing entertainment throughout the day.
For those looking for a traditional Oktoberfest experience, the Floodwater Brewing Company beer tent will be open during the event. Food will be available from the BSE booths, including lunch hot off the grill, cotton candy, and baked goods.
Family-Friendly Fun
Children will have plenty to keep them entertained throughout the day. Classic games such as Plinko, balloon darts, and the lollipop pull will return, along with a free bounce house and crafting activities.
Families can also try their luck with the 50/50 raffle and themed raffle baskets, adding another element of fun while helping raise money for the school.
Cash and Venmo will be accepted at the event.
Supporting BSE Students
While the Oktoberfest is designed to be a fun community celebration, its fundraising purpose is at the heart of the event. All proceeds directly support the Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School sixth-grade class's annual environmental education trip to The Outdoor Classroom in coastal Maine.
The trip provides students with hands-on educational experiences outside the traditional classroom, and the funds raised through Oktoberfest help ensure that every student can participate regardless of cost.
For local families, the event offers an easy way to enjoy a fall day in Shelburne Falls while contributing to an experience that students will remember for years to come.
A Community Celebration
The Shelburne Falls Oktoberfest brings together local families, businesses, vendors, performers, and community members for a day centered around fun and fundraising. Whether visitors come for the craft vendors, live music, food and beer, children's activities, or simply to spend time with neighbors, there will be plenty to enjoy.

The 3rd Annual Shelburne Falls Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School. The rain date is October 17.
