ALLURA Pumpkin Art Spectacular Lights Up Look Memorial Park This Halloween Season

A new autumn attraction is bringing illuminated pumpkin art, imaginative displays, and an enchanting evening experience to Look Memorial Park in Florence, Massachusetts. ALLURA Pumpkin Art Spectacular invites visitors to follow a winding outdoor path filled with elaborate, hand-carved pumpkin sculptures illuminated after dark.

The event offers opportunities to visit this week and over Halloween weekend: Thursday, October 29, through Sunday, November 1. The displays combine art, light, and atmosphere to create a family-friendly alternative to traditional Halloween attractions.

A Walk Through Illuminated Pumpkin Art

ALLURA offers a different take on the traditional pumpkin display. Rather than rows of carved jack-o'-lanterns, visitors follow a looping trail past intricate artistic installations, with illuminated sculptures depicting animals, fantasy characters, and imaginative scenes.

One distinctive feature is that the sculptures are made from durable, pumpkin-based foam material rather than ordinary fresh pumpkins. This allows the detailed artwork to remain on display throughout the event's extended October schedule without quickly deteriorating.

As darkness falls, the sculptures light up against the park's trees and winding pathways, creating an immersive experience that encourages visitors to slow down and appreciate the craftsmanship. The displays are designed to appeal to a broad range of ages, making the event suitable for families as well as adults looking for a distinctive fall outing.

The Artists Behind ALLURA’s Pumpkin Sculptures

The illuminated sculptures at ALLURA Pumpkin Art Spectacular are created by artists Peter Savigny and Andres Boschini. Savigny, the lead sculptor and creative director, has more than eight years of experience designing large-scale pumpkin displays and has won five Emmy Awards for television design. His hand-carved sculptures took over a year to create.

Boschini specializes in intricate linework and detailed portraits, using small blades and sanding tools to bring his designs to life. Visitors can spot his work throughout the trail, especially in the Día de los Muertos scene. Together, their complementary skills create the exhibit’s imaginative displays and remarkable details.

A New Fall Tradition at Look Memorial Park

ALLURA is making its debut in 2026, adding another seasonal attraction to Look Memorial Park's popular autumn calendar. The 157-acre park is already a favorite destination for families, with walking paths, a pond, picnic areas, and other recreational attractions. The pumpkin art exhibition offers a new way to experience the grounds after dark.

Unlike haunted attractions that focus on frightening visitors, ALLURA emphasizes artistry, imagination, and atmosphere. The illuminated installations create an experience that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, making it an appealing option for families seeking a Halloween-season outing without the scares.

The trail is described as fully accessible and stroller-friendly, and timed entry helps visitors explore at a comfortable pace without feeling rushed.
